Medasense Biometrics is seeking for a Clinical Studies Manager

Medasense develops innovative medical devices and applications in the field of physiological pain-response monitoring. The NOL (nociception Level Index) technology is based on proprietary signal acquisition sensor platform, and advanced algorithms which identify and grade the physiological pain response patterns. NOL® technology enables clinicians to optimize pain control treatment and by that, minimize adverse events, improve clinical outcomes and reduce costs.

Job Description

The Clinical Studies Manager leads the global clinical study plan development and execution. The role includes both overall program management responsibilities (managing budget and timelines) and hands on support for certain trials. The role will include leading a small team expected to grow over time with activity in Israel, Europe and North America.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage clinical study plan

  • Manage both company-sponsored and investigator sponsored studies (external research)

  • Build company external research program including building appropriate SOPs

  • Manage budgets, timelines, publication planning

  • Clinical SOP periodic updates

Working hours: Full Time Position. Office location is in Ramat Gan. Travel abroad-30 %

Reports to: VP Clinical, Regulatory & Quality

Interface with: R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, QA

Requirements:

  • MSc/PhD degree in life sciences/medicine/ biomedical engineering or similar

  • CRA certification

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical research roles in the medical device industry

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of clinical research regulation

  • Demonstrated experience in peer reviewed publication development

  • Full command of the English language a must, additional languages an advantage

  • Patient monitoring and anesthesia background an advantage

  • Strong statistical skills and technical understanding an advantage

  • Excellent cross cultural and presentation skills

  • Highly motivated team player

  • Self-managed and highly organized
